Kendamas

The ken has three cups and a spike which fits into the hole in the ball. The kendama is a variant of the classic cup-and-ball game. It is considered to be a Japanese skill game. The big thing to do with this toy is try and figure out how to do tricks with it. For example, One might flip it around and try and land the ball on the spike.
Here is where to buy! https://shop.kendamausa.com/
Also, here is a video on some tricks that you can do. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFiiXkonsXY

Guest Blogger!

Today Sports Galore Man will be a guest blogger on my blog! A trend that we have all seen in sports is when athletes wear arm sleeves. Some people say that it actually helps you perform and others say it it all for looks and matches the teams colors. A study in the American Journal of Medicine found that compression garments lowered blood-lactate levels and blood pooling. Lebron James wears an arm sleeve on his right arm. Is it swag??? Or does it work for medical relief.

Edibles

Anything from brownies, cookies, lollipops, and grilled cheese. Marijuana users are using cannabutter to create a longer lasting "high". The problem with this is that inexperienced users try these "Edibles", and because of the potency and strength it hits them way too hard and can easily cause an overdose. The symptoms that will occur from too much consumption include paranoia, cold sweats, low blood sugar, panic, paleness, dizziness, vomiting, and sudden drowsiness.

Here is a safe alternate that I would recommend

Silly bands

Who remembers these?
Image result for Silly band collection
Silly bands came in certain themed packages, and I would say back in 2011 they were the thing to wear. I remember sitting in my classroom and trading the rubber bands that I was wearing for the bands that other kids were wearing.

They came in all sorts of shapes, colors, and sizes.

They were made by Passkey Design and were introduced in 2002.

Summoning the demon "Charlie"

Much like the 8 ball and the Ouija board, the Spanish game juego de la Lapicera(Game of the pens) is a game in which one will attempt to summon the demon "Charlie". He will answer your yes or no questions, almost like the 8 ball.

The explanation behind the phenomenon of the pencils spinning is explained in  https://www.livescience.com/51069-charlie-charlie-challenge-explained.html

Sneeze or celebration?

The "Dab" is believed to be a dance move that originated in Atlanta, Georgia. It was forgotten about until 2015 when NFL superstar Cam Newton did the "Dab" after scoring a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

It has somehow continued to considered "Cool" throughout 2018. The younger generation more so knows what it is. The older generation tends to see it as an "oddity".

Introducing the JUUL

For those who want to quit smoking, but also still need their nicotine. The newest attempted cessation is the JUUL. Much like E-Cigs, or vaping. The JUUL introduces a very slim way of getting nicotine, and getting different flavors other than just what you would get from cigarettes. Some of the flavors include cool mint, fruit medley, creme brulee, virginia tobacco, and mango. A big market for the juul is for kids who are underage because of the sleek design and the convenience of being able to keep it hidden.

I would like to thank Readers Digest for the article they posted. Do not be afraid to check it out!
